In creating a canvas.. You'll need the following
- 2 pcs 1x2 wood - 8ft long (depends on what the size of your canvas)
- nails
- thumbtacks / staples
- canvas - 36x36 inches (Deovir retail)
- Semi-Gloss Latex Paint
- Brush
- Carpentry tools
Stretch out the canvas and put hold the middle parts with the thumbtacks or staple it. Slowly grab and stretch again the other parts to create a drumlike / bouncy lock feel to the cloth then put thumbtacks on it and fill the gaps too.
Apply the latex coating. First coat is 50% water & 50% latex. Then 2nd coat is purely latex but in two directions. and lastly sandpaper to smooth the surface and then apply latex finally. Just let it dry and start Oil Painting
